Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information BullardConsulting, LLC (“we”) collects when you use ManagerIQ Foodservice at https://app.generalmanagertraining.net, how we use it, who else handles it, and what you can do about it.
Effective [[EFFECTIVE DATE: the day these pages go live]]
1. The short version
- We collect what we need to run your account, score your work and bill you. We do not sell your personal information and we do not run advertising or third-party analytics trackers.
- What you type for AI feedback is sent to AI providers (Anthropic, and OpenAI for voice) so they can produce the result.
- Please do not put employee, customer or payment-card information into the Service. It is built for business summaries, not personal records.
- You can download a copy of your data, and delete your account and content, yourself from the Account page at any time.
2. Information we collect
Account information
Your email address and password. Your password is handled by our authentication provider and is stored only in protected (hashed) form; we cannot read it. You may also add a display name, job title and years of experience if the Service asks for them.
Training content you create
Your responses to cases (diagnoses, coaching and briefing text, action plans, explanations), role-play messages (what you type, or what is transcribed from your voice), email exercises, the scores and feedback you receive, and timestamps. Voice recordings are sent for transcription and are not stored by us.
Data you import into IQ Analytics
When you import a sales, labor or inventory summary, we keep only the columns you choose to map: for sales, business date, net sales and check count; for labor, business date, labor cost, hours and optional overtime hours; for inventory, item name, unit, theoretical and actual quantity and unit cost. We also keep the location name you type, the file name, the column headings, and the mapped cell values so you can view the source rows behind each number. We do not store the original file or unmapped columns. Do not import customer, employee or payment information. Labor imports are designed for one daily total per location and reject employee-level rows.
Membership and billing
Payments are made on Stripe’s checkout page. We receive a Stripe customer ID, your subscription’s plan, status and billing-period dates, and the email on your account. Stripe collects your card and billing details (including your address, so tax can be calculated); we do not receive or store your card number.
Usage and technical information
How many AI-scored interactions you have used, when, and for which activity; and standard technical data such as IP address, browser type, pages requested and timestamps, which our hosting provider records to deliver and secure the Service.
Messages to us
If you email us, we keep the message and our reply.
3. How we use information
- to create your account, keep you signed in and connect your membership;
- to generate scores, feedback and role-play responses, and to enforce your monthly allowance;
- to process and display your imported data back to you;
- to bill, prevent fraud and abuse, keep the Service secure, and meet legal obligations;
- to provide support and send account messages (for example email confirmation and password reset);
- to understand, in aggregate, how the Service is used so we can improve it.
We do not use your responses to train AI models. We do not currently send marketing emails; if we start, we will tell you and offer a way to opt out.
4. Who else handles your information
We use these service providers, who process information on our behalf to run the Service:
- Supabase: database and sign-in (your account, content and imports are stored here).
- Netlify: website hosting and delivery.
- Stripe: checkout, payments, invoices and tax calculation.
- Anthropic: the AI models that score your work and play characters in role-plays. Your responses and role-play messages are sent to Anthropic for this purpose.
- OpenAI: speech-to-text and text-to-speech if you use the voice feature. Your audio and the character’s lines are sent to OpenAI.
Each provider handles data under its own terms and privacy policy. We share information only as needed to provide the Service, to comply with law or protect rights and safety, or with your direction. If we are part of a merger, sale or reorganization, information may transfer to the new owner under this policy.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
5. Cookies and browser storage
See Cookies & Storage. In short, we do not set advertising or analytics cookies.
6. How long we keep information
We keep your account and content while your account is open. When you delete your account from the Account page, your sign-in, profile, responses, role-play transcripts, scores, AI usage history and imported data are deleted immediately. If you would rather ask us to do it, email us and we will complete it within [[DAYS TO COMPLETE A DELETION REQUEST]] days.
We keep limited records we are required or permitted to keep: payment and subscription records (plan, status, billing dates and the email used to purchase) for tax, accounting, fraud-prevention and dispute purposes. After you delete your account these are no longer linked to an account. Stripe also keeps its own records of payments under its policies. Deleting your account immediately cancels any active subscription, so you are not charged again. Backups and provider logs are overwritten on their normal schedules.
7. Your choices and rights
You can download a copy of your information and delete your account yourself on the Account page. To ask us to correct information, or to make any of these requests by email, write to andrew@foodsafeiq.com from the address on your account and we will respond. Depending on where you live (for example, California and some other states), you may have additional rights, such as knowing what we collect, correcting or deleting it, and not being discriminated against for using those rights. You can also archive your own imports inside IQ Analytics, and stop the use of your browser storage by signing out or clearing your browser data. To cancel billing, use the Billing page or delete your account.
8. Security
We use encryption in transit (HTTPS), access controls so each member can read only their own data, and keep secrets on the server. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Tell us right away if you believe your account has been compromised.
9. Where information is processed
We operate from the United States, and our providers process information in the United States and possibly other countries. By using the Service you understand that your information will be handled there.
10. Children
The Service is for adults (18 and over) working in foodservice. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you think a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Changes
We may update this policy. If a change is material we will notify you by email or in the Service before it takes effect, and we will update the effective date above.
